The Latest Intralogistics & Warehousing Expo, held on 19-21 December 2024. And organized by Future Market Events at the KTPO Convention Centre, Whitefield, Bengaluru, was a resounding success. It provided a vibrant platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and business development. This leading show highlighted the latest innovations in warehousing, material handling, and supply chain automation. Underscoring the rapid digital transformation taking place in the logistics sector.

Some of the Key Exhibitors at the Exhibition:Is India Ready to Move to an Organized Supply Chain?

The event attracted a large number of visitors and featured 127 exhibitors, including industry professionals, decision-makers. And key stakeholders from across India. This diverse mix of participants fostered dynamic exchanges of ideas and business opportunities. Major players included Craftsman Automation, SMR Technosoft, dg2n by GMetri, Drona Logitech, ADDVERB, Globetech, AIVA, RITCO, SEABRID Logisolutions Limited, JCB, HACHIDORI, MHE Bazar, ACE, Concrete Planners, and Godrej. The exhibitors showcased a wide range of offerings. Including material handling equipment, logistics solutions, warehouse infrastructure, and advanced inventory management systems.

Some of the Key Exhibitors at the Exhibition:

With rising real estate costs, especially in cities like Bengaluru, Gurugram expanding horizontally is becoming more difficult, making vertical storage solutions like their V-Store increasingly essential. Craftsman Automation showcased its wide range of storage solutions, from static to automated systems, including ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems) and vertical storage options which grabbed attention of visitor.

Mobile robots took center stage as Hachidori Robotics introduced their range of autonomous models equipped with cutting-edge GPS technology for precise positioning and orientation. These robots use a triangulation system with beacons to ensure accurate localization, effectively eliminating the risk of losing track of their position. Emphasizing safety, Hachidori Robotics incorporates a three-layer safety mechanism, featuring two safety sensors placed diagonally to provide comprehensive 360° coverage, ensuring thorough protection.

Another interesting exhibit was Addverb’s diverse range of automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), designed to optimize warehouse efficiency by improving space utilization and material handling. The solutions on display included carton-based and pallet-based shuttles, crane-based ASRS, and multi-deep storage systems, each tailored to meet specific operational requirements. These advanced systems are designed to increase throughput, maximize storage capacity, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

MHEBazar exhibited a variety of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) designed to streamline material handling and optimize warehouse operations. These AGVs are equipped with advanced technologies to automate the transportation of goods within facilities, improving efficiency and reducing the need for manual labor. MHEBazar provides detailed specifications and pricing options for different AGV models suitable for diverse industrial applications.

Events like this become centralized platforms for bringing the entire ecosystem together. Praising the event, Vishal Pandey, Supply Chain Google, said, “This event is fascinating. The booths, panel discussions, and everything here is interesting.” Manu R. Bhalla, President and Global Head of Freight Systems, added, “Wonderful sessions, good exhibition, and great participation.”

Is India Ready to Move to an Organized Supply Chain?

The Indian logistics market, valued at $228.4 billion USD, is experiencing substantial growth. The market size of Indian warehousing. Is INR 1,378.7 billion and is projected to expand to INR 3,107.5 billion by 2032. This significant growth is driven by innovations and technological advancements in the industry. Including technological integration, advanced warehousing systems, and sophisticated warehouse management software. Additionally, government initiatives are playing a crucial role in fostering this development.

Despite the presence of these technologies and solutions. There remains a question: Is India truly ready for the growth and advancements in the supply chain industry? The potential is evident.
