Company Scales Up Operations and Workforce to Meet Growing Demand
Allcargo Gati, a leading name in express distribution and supply chain management, is poised for a bustling festive season with significant enhancements to its operations. The company anticipates a surge in shipment volumes and has proactively scaled up its capabilities to ensure seamless order processing and delivery efficiency.
In preparation for the festive rush, Allcargo Gati has invested heavily in both technological advancements and manpower. The company has fortified its supply chain infrastructure, upgrading its sorting and fulfillment centers with state-of-the-art technology. This includes the installation of double deep racking systems, advanced conveyor belts, and hand-held terminals. Additionally, the company has implemented data-driven route-optimization solutions to streamline last-mile delivery and enhance operational efficiency.
To accommodate the increased demand, Allcargo Gati has expanded its workforce with plans to hire over 3,000 individuals across various operational roles. This expansion is aligned with the company’s growth strategy and aims to ensure adequate staffing levels to handle the anticipated surge in order processing and delivery needs. The company has also broadened its network of staffing solutions providers, adding six new partners to support its operational requirements during this peak period.
Allcargo Gati’s enhanced operational capabilities are complemented by its extensive network of sorting and fulfillment centers. The company operates 15 mother hub sorting centers and recently launched last-mile delivery operations for major e-commerce giants in Maharashtra and West Bengal. These centers are equipped to handle high volumes efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries across the country.

Allcargo Gati’s infrastructure includes a 1.48 lakh sq. ft. Surface Transhipment Centre and Distribution Warehouse at Bhiwandi, a 1.5 lakh sq. ft. Surface Transhipment Centre at Farukh Nagar, and additional centers in Indore, Nagpur, Guwahati, and Bengaluru. This strategic expansion ensures greater reach and support for the company’s growing customer base.
