FSN Enters Indonesia Through Strategic Collaboration

FSN has collaborated with RBA Indonesia to oversee the complete supply chain operations of Burger King and Popeyes. This partnership includes managing end-to-end supply and distribution activities across nearly 170 outlets in the country. With this move, FSN becomes the first Indian food supply company to set up a dedicated international operation.

The expansion reinforces FSN’s long-standing relationship with RBA, with whom it has worked closely in India for over a decade. By extending this trusted collaboration to Indonesia, both companies aim to drive operational efficiency, reliability, and food safety. In the growing Indonesian market.

Centralized Distribution Model to Drive Efficiency

To ensure streamlined operations, FSN will implement its centralized distribution model, which has proven successful in India. The company will operate six strategically located distribution centres across Indonesia to support its supply chain activities.

This model will help FSN replicate standardized processes while maintaining high levels of efficiency, consistency, and safety across all its distribution centres.

Technology Integration Plays a Key Role

FSN places strong emphasis on technology as the backbone of its operations. The company leverages advanced IT systems to gain real-time visibility and support data-driven decision-making.

Its integrated technology stack includes SAP ERP, a Warehouse Management System (WMS), and a Transport Management System (TMS). These tools will allow FSN to deliver seamless integration across operations while ensuring traceability and control at every step.

Building Strong Local Partnerships for Better Supply Chain Outcomes

In its Indonesian operations, FSN will work closely with more than 30 local suppliers and manufacturers. This collaboration will help the company localize its supply chain and build strong relationships within the market.

At the same time, FSN is exploring selective imports from India to optimize sourcing strategies and strengthen supply chain resilience. This balanced approach will allow FSN to maintain cost-effectiveness while ensuring consistent product quality.

Leadership Voices Express Confidence and Optimism

Gaurav Jain, Chairman of FSN, expressed confidence in the company’s global journey. “Expanding into Indonesia is a natural progression in our journey, and we are proud to bring our capabilities to a high-growth market with immense potential,” he said.

He further added, “FSN’s goal is to build Southeast Asia’s most advanced foodservice network, anchored in technology, reliability, and scalable execution.”

Sandeep Dey, President of RBA Indonesia, welcomed FSN’s entry into the country. “Our relationship with FSN spans over a decade in India, where we have grown together as trusted partners,” he said.

He continued, “We are pleased to welcome FSN to Indonesia as they take on the critical role of managing distribution and backend operations for our brands.”

FSN Aims to Lead the Foodservice Supply Chain in Southeast Asia

FSN’s entry into Indonesia marks a significant milestone in its global expansion strategy. By leveraging its deep experience, robust technology, and strong partnerships, the company aims to create a benchmark for foodservice supply chain excellence in Southeast Asia.

With a clear vision and strong operational backbone, FSN is well-positioned to scale its capabilities, build trust in new markets, and deliver superior value to its customers across borders.
